I’m becoming a FlyBaby again after a year or so away from the other email group. I’d grown weary of the emails and reminders with the old group, and this one sounds like it will be so much better, just what I’m looking for. Thanks so much for setting this up for all of us that struggle with this sort of thing, I’m really looking forward to jumping back on board and getting my home and my life in order and out of CHAOS.

Unable to join this group from my BlackBerry and Bolt Browser. Love, FLYlady, it’s a great program, but guess I can’t get the messages. Very disappointed with the move, Yahoo Groups is much easier to use and I can do it on my BlackBerry.

You can just visit the FlyLady public page (https://www.bigtent.com/groups/flylady) and click the “resend an existing invitation link” which is located in the right-hand column, under the submit button. A new invitation will sent right out to you.

I am happy with the new group it seems to be better , because I don’t have to have a yahoo e-mail account and all. I just joined , but I haven’t received any e-mail from flylady yet , is that normal? Maybe it’s because of my subscription to a daily digest?

Just looked up your email in our system and sent you another invitation reminder to join FlyLady on BigTent. The email has a subject line, “REMINDER Welcome to FlyLady”. Please click on the link in the email and follow the steps to activate your BigTent account. You’ll then be able to log in and check out FlyLady on BigTent.

Since you activated your BigTent accounts for FlyLady so quickly (woohoo!), you may have joined the new BigTent group before they started sending emails through it.

I actually ‘unjoined’ big tent for Flylady, as the emails I had received were not clearly formatted with paragraphs and everything was all crammed together making it very hard to read.
At least with Yahoo, there were paragraph formattings allowed so that you knew when a paragraph ended and a new one began.
When I ‘unjoined’ I was given a message that this was an irreversible option. You might want to verify that your email writing can actually be formatted and have bigger fonts so people with bad vision can easily read them.
Loving Big Tent! Much better than Yahoo! Much more colorful! Can’t wait to see what’s next! Kudos for having the courage to change!!!

Hi there! I just wanted to let you know that I love the look of the site, but I have not received any Fly Lady email. I have “no_reply@lists.bigtent.com” listed in my safe list. I miss my emails!! Please help!
I was initially quite pleased that we could continue receiving our emails from Flylady and Saving Dinner without joining Big Tent as I have no desire to join yet another website. I really, really didn’t want to join Big Tent. Yahoo was so convenient as it was right on my toolbar with the rest of my groups – everything all together (no I don’t want another toolbar)
However, I was very upset that in order to change my email address for those mails I had no choice but to join anyway. It even made me consider cancelling completely.
In the end, I ended up having to join anyway, since some of my mails went to one, and some to the other (My address was changed during the transition). I had to join with one address, and then cancel the membership of the other one as I couldn’t just change one to the other as it said it was taken (because half my mail was going to each). Very frustrating.
When everything was in Yahoo, all I had to do was change my Yahoo address, and voila! This time, that only worked for half the mail.
Oh well, it is just very aggravating to have to join a new website just because I changed my email address back to the original one I was using when I first joined …

We can remove the conflicting account from our records, and then you’ll be able to update your email address for your BigTent account.

Hello!
I signed up for BigTent on Thursday, Sept. 17th. I recieved my first content email on Friday, the 18th, but I have not received another one since then. I thought that they were supposed to start coming daily. Did I misunderstand or do I have a problem?!! (I did put BigTent on my safe senders list.)

Thanks for contacting BigTent. I checked your account, and it looks like we turned off email delivery to your address because messages were bouncing.
The best way to remedy that is to change your email address to something else that isn’t bouncing (we recommend Gmail). If you are getting other emails but not FlyLady messages, you may want to check with the person managing your email domain. It’s possible that BigTent emails got blocked, and a system administrator on your end would need to put us back on the whitelist.

I love this idea, and I joined last week! I am getting mail – such as flightplans testimonials etc. I thought however that I was supposed to get some welcome messages, and some babysteps to start with, but maybe I got ot wrong…? Or did I make some mistake when joining? I am a bit overwhelmed, and don’t really know where to start FLYing =)

Can you forward a copy of the FlyLady email you’re still getting from Yahoo? Please send it to support@bigtent.com. I am not part of the FlyLady community on Yahoo so it is hard for me to diagnose what is going on with your account.
I have heard that the FlyLady team is considering creating forums on BigTent, but I don’t have any details on when they’ll make this change.

I am not able to sign in…have tried asking for a reset of password, but I’m not able to sign in using the temporary password that was sent in an email to me. When I’m on the login page and enter my email address and temp password, I click submit, and get returned right back to the login page. Not sure what it happening. Help:)

Hi Camilla,
FlyLady doesn’t send out specific babysteps to new members. Our recommendation is to read the weekly flight plans and jump in wherever you can. Just doing part of a flight plan or learning something from a testimonial counts as a babystep!

I’ve been getting Flylady’s e-mails for many years. I got a few e-mails from BigTent when the change over happened but they have been few and far between and I’ve not been receiving any posts such as testimonials at all. My e-mail accounts are working fine, nothing is being filtered into ‘junk’. What must I do now to get e-mails back to normal?
I’ve joined BigTent, first with the NoExcusesWorkout…but how do I add the flylady site to my group? I’m already a member of both, an receive the emails without problems. I deleted my “invitation” back in September, not thinking I’d need it!

I just checked our system – looks like you still have an open invitation to FlyLady. You can get to it in two ways:
1. Log in and check for an enrollment task in the box where it says, “Good Morning, Sheri!”. Click the enrollments link and you’ll go through the quick steps to activate your FlyLady membership on BigTent.
or
2. Visit https://www.bigtent.com/groups/flylady. Click the “Not a member yet? Sign up” button. Then click the “Resend invitation” link. You’ll be able to enter your email address and get a new email to join FlyLady.
