Green for Groups Promotion

Get Green for Groups!

green for groups

Is green your favorite color? Well, it is one of BigTent’s favorites! Green makes us think of the environment, Spring, St. Patrick’s Day, and money. To celebrate all of these, BigTent will award $50 to every new group that joins BigTent between now and March 31st and has at least 50 members.

Have friends with community, volunteer or parenting groups? Let them know about BigTent’s “Green for Groups” program. Start your group now at this link: www.bigtent.com/signup.

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must complete the following steps between 12:01 am Pacific time (“PT”) on Friday, February 20, 2008, and 11:59 pm PT on Friday, March 31, 2009:

  1. Create your BigTent group. Go to www.bigtent.com/signup to get started.
  2. Connect with a BigTent Community Coach by sending an email to coachrequest@bigtent.com. Our community coaches are group leaders themselves and will help you with your group setup and share their advice for running a successful community group on BigTent.
  3. Get at least 50 new users to join your group by March 31st. A new user is defined as an individual who creates or activates her/his BigTent account for the first time when joining your group. Every 50 new users that join your group during the program period results in one $50 payment with a maximum of a $150 grant to each new group.

Saving Dinner Launching on BigTent

Saving Dinner

Update: Here’s a link to the Saving Dinner group on BigTent: https://www.bigtent.com/groups/savingdinner

We’re excited to announce that beginning February 27th, BigTent will be Saving Dinner’s new online community!

Saving Dinner is making the switch to BigTent so they can deliver their newsletters more efficiently, and to take advantage of BigTent’s robust online community tools.

If you’re already receiving newsletters from Saving Dinner, here’s what you need to know:

  1. Your Saving Dinner newsletters will continue to get delivered without you having to lift a finger.
  2. On February 26th you will receive an invitation to activate your account on BigTent. You do not need to activate your account to continue receiving your newsletters. However, activating your account will allow you to change your subscription settings and participate in the “soon-to-be-launched” Saving Dinner community. (Add no_reply@lists.bigtent.com to your email safe list. This is the email address that the invitation will be sent from.)
  3. On February 27th the Saving Dinner Newsletters will begin being sent from the Saving Dinner BigTent community. The newsletter sender email address will still be LeanneEly@savingdinner.com.

That’s it!

If you have any questions about Saving Dinner’s switch to BigTent or questions about activating your account – feel free to send us an email at support@bigtent.com.

BigTent also has a very strict privacy policy and does not sell, rent or give user information to third parties. Go here (https://www.bigtent.com/privacy) to learn more about BigTent’s privacy policy.

We look forward to the upcoming launch.
